Brooks Jeffrey Housing Authority

The Brooks Jeffrey Housing Authority has an essential mission to provide housing assistance for people with low and moderate incomes. As a truly great community, Brooks Jeffrey offers affordable housing for people across the income spectrum, and BJHA is the catalyst for affordable housing in the Brooks Jeffrey area.

Since 1938, BJHA has provided housing assistance in Mountain Home, utilizing traditional programs: Public Housing and Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers funded by the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In recent years, BJHA has updated its housing portfolio with modern mixed-income developments and continues to search for ways to expand affordable housing throughout the City and County.

As our community continues to grow and change, BJHA continues to develop new strategies to proactively meet the challenges of Building Communities of Opportunity for the residents of Mountain Home.
